We love your feedback, and I’d like to explain three of the ways we use it.

Continuous Training

We use your feedback for continuous training. How do we know what to focus on? Well, we must keep up to date with legislative changes in the industry, but we also need to know what we do well – to ensure we continue doing it – and where are the opportunities for improvement.

For example, where we have a team member who’s anxious about making phone calls and struggles to provide a clear message, we can use role-plays to give them the practice they need to become more confident. This also helps us improve our onboarding training for new team members and avoid repeated mistakes.

Process Improvement

We use your feedback to improve our processes. Like the saying goes, “You can’t fix what you don’t know is broken.”

We’ve been able to streamline some of our business processes from past feedback from tenants. We had feedback that it was taking too long for them to know whether they’d secured the rental property they’d applied for.

While other agents can take as long as 2-3 weeks to process an application, we ensure all submitted applications are processed within 4 hours. We can now guarantee our tenants an answer within a maximum of 24 hours. We also use a tenancy database system to keep details of pre-approved tenants ready to move into suitable properties.

Motivating the Team

Your positive feedback is highly motivating, and let’s face it who doesn’t want to hear nice things about themself. We all have our low days but when we can read some positive feedback it lifts our spirits and makes us realise that we’re valued team members.

Also, when it comes time for our team performance appraisals, team members use the positive feedback they’ve received as input. We use your great feedback to assess pay rises for team members and other benefits.
